Water Heater Leak in Round Rock, TX

This bedroom sustained water damage as a result of a burst water heater. Water traveled underneath the laminate floor to multiple areas of the home. Laminate flooring is installed with a moisture barrier underneath to help prevent water damage from sub surface sources permeating through a porous concrete slab. That being said, in a water damage situation we tend to see moisture travel underneath the moisture barrier into different sections of the structure while showing little to no signs of damage to the laminate flooring itself. However, in order to ensure that the structure is mitigated properly we have to remove the flooring until there is no longer bound moisture underneath the laminate flooring.
