2015 Floods In Austin, TX
This Austin, TX home was affected by the Halloween floods of 2015. Notice the mud and muck left on the tile floor of this laundry room after the water receded; there was two feet of water throughout this home. If you look at the picture you will see that most of the affected flooring and sheetrock was removed, however the tile was not. Ceramic tiles can be very resilient to water damage, and often times does not need to be replaced. It took 2 days for the water to recede and allow SERVPRO of Pflugerville to get to the home and begin the mitigation process. SERVPRO of Pflugerville removed, inventoried, and stored all salvageable contents in the home until the it could be rebuilt. The entire mitigation process took about a 10 days to complete and make ready for the reconstruction.
